I just received (two days ahead of schedule) this Hampton | Italian Veg-Tan | Moonstone Pegai crossbody bag and was impressed from the moment I opened the box. The presentation is beautiful: a sturdy navy gift box, rich blue interior, and the bag carefully wrapped so everything arrives in perfect condition. The leather looks and feels excellent—thick and high‑quality—with clean stitching. It is compact but practical, with a structured shape that keeps its form while still being comfortable to wear, and its elegant minimalist design that will work with many outfits is exactly what I was hoping for. Overall, it feels like a thoughtfully made piece and a very pleasant unboxing experience.
This is the second item I have bought from Pegai, and I admire the care that is obviously put into the products and packaging. I look forward to using this bag for many years.
This bag offers a couple features that are hard to find: nickel hardware which looks better with the color of jewelry I wear and real width/depth in a compact bag which makes it much for practical and useful for daily wear.
I also love the quality leather and quality build.
Wife likes the look but it is smaller than I thought. It is very stiff and does not allow much in it.
Like another reviewer said, the bag is small, and overall i do like it. However, I'm disappointed in the number of imperfections. There are a lot of spots in the front and you can definitely see a lot of veining. This is box fresh, but i feel like it looks like I've worn it for several months.
