This is Melegros, top-grain calfskin that starts showing its character almost as soon as you start using it.

Chrome-tanned and finished with a pull-up technique, Melegros has a tight, transitive structure that responds quickly to handling. Unlike leathers that take years to develop a patina, Melegros begins darkening and picking up a subtle shine with just short-term use, the surface visibly shifting in tone as it bends, stretches, and settles back into place.

The leather can scratch, and it will, but here, that's part of the design rather than a flaw to avoid. No concealer has been applied to the surface, so natural traces and vessels from the hide remain visible in places, a quiet signature of the material's authenticity.

Certified by the Leather Working Group, Melegros meets rigorous standards in responsible tanning and sourcing, proof that fast-developing character and responsible production aren't mutually exclusive.
